[[The emphasis goes on 'mental'...]]

How do you explain the very fabric of our culture to someone who [it seems] doesn't want to understand?

It's the 2-4. May two-four. I can't understand why this is a difficult concept. But then again, it's as natural as rain for me, right?

Sheesh.

In other news:

We won! We won! We beat the teachers. Woohoo. I also managed to scrape up a nice handful of points for myself. I snatched a Greek mythology question right from under Mr. Longo's nose.

Take that!

Unfortunately, I will be missing the year end School Reach bash. I will be in New York at that time. Ho hum.

Pros/Cons

Melissa is being a worry head. I told her not to be because we're gonna rock the project, but she still is worrying. "Melissa," I say. "I've come too far not to ace this assignment." But still, she does not listen. Minus side: Feel like crap, have bad headache, have bruise the size of Prince Edward Island on my shin [small province, big ass bruise], Mom left me in the rain for 25 minutes after work, gonna get my clock cleaned at SR tomorrow. Plus side: Got mail, Sean Penn,  Malkin said we don't have to worry because he's not playing. I rolled my eyes and he pretended to throw a stapler but I got the last laugh because I drew an amusing doodle of him and slipped it under his door during last period.

Growl

I have been depressive and moody these past few days. I hate myself when I get like this. Ew. Ah well, no use worrying. And do you know why there is no use worrying?

Because I have to be at school for eight tomorrow! Damn that's early. I hope Laurel doesn't MISS THE FREAKIN' BUS AGAIN tomorrow, because we're leaving real early.

Fifty-six in World Issues? Not that cool. And the choreography for Fiddler on the Roof is eating my face. I'm such a bad dancer...

But we did beat the intermediates 6oo-12o today at Reach. I love reaming the other team, I really. One of them got cheeky so we stopped going easy on them. It was seven on three and we still ate them alive. I love it.

Okay, so, we're the senior team sure, but they were very quick to point out that we came in sixth and they came in fourth and are going to the semis next week. And they figured the seven of them could take on Justin, Dave and I.

News for you kids: don't fuck with us. We are dangerous creatures, especially with Reach buzzers. You train with sweet Ms. Jenset? We train with the Malkin. Ph34r us.

Ryan: Whoa, our lives seem so much like a movie tonight.
Colleen: Heh, that means one of us is about to get brutally murdered or laid. Depending.
Ryan: And since I have virtually no chance of getting laid and there's that creepy guy with the chainsaw hanging around outside my house... Go and have sex right now, or else I'm gonna die!
Colleen: But... but... That's too much pressure! I can't perform under all the pressure!
Ryan: SOMEONE HAS TO SAVE MY LIFE!
Colleen: Yipes! *runs*
*six minutes later*
Colleen: There. Now you're safe for the night.
Ryan: Ahahahahaha! Yeah, so how is that boy of yours?

And this is when I proceeded to remind him of the terrible ass kicking he will recieve tomorrow. He did not mention 'that boy' again.

But annnnyways.

I bought a toaster tonight. It's pretty toastalicious. And a shiny elephant, which is less toastalicious and more... Indian-inspired.

Guys and Dolls. Guys and MotherFuckin'Dolls.

I GOT MY MUSICAL THEATRE QUESTION AT LAST. Now if I only get another one in a game on Tuesday.

SR

Ewwww.

SR today.

We played three games today. They shortened our day to four games, then we had a bye.

Sinclair and O'Neill look like the schools to beat this year. Apparently Austin is a joke. This makes me happy.

We played Henry [3oo-2oo us], Ajax [39o-2oo them] and Richardson [33o-2oo us] for a total of 83o for the day. Not too bad, but I hate the laws of SR. I got out round 2 game three, and I knew every answer. Including a 'who am I?' on thirty points! It's Doctor Seuss! Doctor Seuss I tell you!

I made Zach official bitch today. He carried/set up/dismantled the buzzer set. And I made him also carry my jacket. And I got to make fun of him and blame him for everything.

Heh, the funniest part was when Malkin forgot the buzzers in the classroom. So he went to school to get them at quarter to nine. And no one told him the start time got moved from nine to nine thirty. Heh heh. Sucker. He panicked for nothing. And on the way out for the day, I told him not to forget the buzzers. He gave me the look.

There were five Winnie the Pooh questions! And a question about Les Misérables! It rocked.

Worked some more on my Secret Slash. Damn I love it. I'm such a nerd, I know, but I got awesome prompts and my story has a... I have no idea what it has but I am happy with the way it's going.

And I pretty much lost my history text today. My life flashed before my eyes. But luckily I found it. After the student teacher had a panic attack because he thought I was a grade eleven trying to cheat on my test. Which I am not, on either count.

Oh SR, you slay me. I did well today though, 22 correct answers.

One more practice until game time. One. More. Practice. We're basically fucked. Hopefully we play Henry first. Sorry Henry, I love you, I do, but hee hee. Team...

Still waiting on my comtemporary musical theatre questions. Had one section last year. We need a good one this year.

Is it wrong that Mister Malkin's nonsensical ramblings amuse me and stick with me more than course work? I think it is.

And Mrs. Giasson has the best leson plan: if Melissa does not bring in Mighty Ducks, have the students watch Goldeneye.

Best afternoon ever. And I got plenty of knitting done.

Yeah. So.

Weird dream last night. Now I'm afraid to go to School Reach. Because I might get shot/have sex with teammates.

Both of which would be weird/a little awkward at the next practice...

But yeah, so I'm feeling pretty much like Death warmed over right now.

Ooh, better [not best, but better] because I found juice.

NOOOO! DON'T DO IT JAVERT! IT'S NOT WORTH IT! THERE'S SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR.....

...Whoops. Too late. *giggle*

Yeah, I was thinking about a boy today. A certain, pretty to look at boy. And I decided that I’d tap him twice if I could get him doped up first.*

Or you know, if he asked me...

Aww, I love talking to Colin. He says silly things and then I forget why I am depressed. Much like when Brendan was shouting obscenities at my last night through my computer speakers. 'Duckie' and such, just scandalizing, I tell you.

And I totally was just on wikipedia and I pressed random, right? Well, don'tcha know it, I got taken to an article about Mary II. And I totally knew what was going on!

That just makes me so damned happy because it means that everything that Mister Malkin talks about doesn't go over my head! I actually do retain some information!

[*Okay, so technically it is stealing. Plagiarism of a thought. Sorry Cookie. But damn! He's hot!]
