The Rules Are As Follows
1. You shall put your music player on shuffle.
2. You shall press forward for each question.
3. You shall use the song title as the answer to the question even if it doesn't make sense. NO CHEATING!
4. You shall give your own comments on how it relates to the questions.

How are you feeling today?
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da -- The Beatles
So I'm feeling... like a singer in a band. Maybe I'm feeling like I have a future in store for me?

Will you get far in life?
Bring Me To Life -- Evanescence
'Save me the nothing I've become.' Ouch.

How do your friends see you?
Lighthouse -- The Hush Sound
In the song, the lighthouse is full of ghosts and stories and it seems to be the only place to hide from the storm (even though it'll kill you if you go inside). Hmmm.

What is your best friend's theme song?
No One Mourns The Wicked -- Wicked Original Broadway Cast
HAH. So true.

What is the story of your life?
Don't Lie -- Black Eyed Peas
Ehh, I'm an actress and a writer. Lying is my life.

What is high school like?
Buddy Holly -- Weezer
'What did we ever do to these guys that made them so violent?'

How can you get ahead in life?
Once and For All -- Newsies Soundtrack
Okay, so I can get ahead in life by sticking to it, non-violently maintaining my point of view in the face of adversity and creating some sort of musical montage during the most vital plot point. Ahah!

What is the best thing about your friends?
Another Day -- RENT Original Broadway Cast
My friends are great because they sing kickass duets.

What is in store for this weekend?
We Intertwined -- The Hush Sound
'Life was on our tongues, it tasted heavenly- so good.' I'm going to experience life to the fullest this weekend. OR ELSE.

How is your life going?
Ice Storm, Big Gust and You -- Tilly and the Wall
Sparks leap from my mouth when I talk, apparently. Sweeeeeet.

What song will they play at your funeral?
Heffalumps and Woozles -- Winnie The Pooh
Apparently I will have stipulated this sometijme during my last, morphine riddled days.

What do your friends really think of you?
Something To Sleep To -- Michelle Branch
Either they think I'm a manipulative bitch or they feel I am the most reliable friend they have. Possibly both.

Do people secretly lust after you?
Lady Marmalade -- Christina Aguilera et al.
That's a resounding affirmative. ^__^

How can you make yourself happy?
Padriac, My Prince -- Bright Eyes
I really hope this doesn't mean I have to drown a baby.

What should you do with your life?
Make Out Kids -- Motion City Soundtrack
I should start swimming, then if it hits, I'll never die. (Yeah, I don't know either)

Will you ever have children?
Spring -- bare: A Pop Opera New York Cast
'If I ran the show, I'd say baby- baby- let it snow!' It does say baby twice... But then again, spring is all "oooh, fertility," and this song is all "booo, spring is bad," so I'm not really sure what to think.

Quick update:

- I love the word 'bliss'.
- Today is Sarah's 19th. She was drunk when I left her: at 145 in the afternoon.
- All day dress rehearsal tomorrow might actually kill me
- I need a nap.
- Busty SaintClaire is sick. I might have to go surprise!pounce her to make her feel better.
- Reading is fun, so I will continue doing that.
- I'm not jumping anyone's bones, Jenna, stop suggesting it.
- There's a bloody crow outside my building and it won't stop cawing.
- I want more dance-y type music. Suggestions?
- <3

Sorry about the flood, folks, but I'm seriously bored.

You know the score for this one though. Put your play list on random and put a lyric from the first thirty. Now who can guess??

1. I'm no prophet, but I've seen things...
2. I tried to go on like I never knew you...
3. Wouldn't you think I'm a girl; a girl who has everything.
The rest! )

The Fort

I have decided to build a fort whenever I get sad or lonely or bored or hyper. The fort is a pretty cool ass place to live, and when I am cold, it is nice because it traps all the heat in. That's what I'm about.

Unfortunately, there's not really all that much room in the fort for another person. If I could find some proper tape, I could build a better fort and fit more people in. Then we could all be in my fort and no one would ever feel left out. Because really, that's what I'm about.

If we were all in the fort, we would read classic poetry and the peoms we wrote ourselves (I love haikus) and listen to all my swing music and the jazz radio station that I no longer get because I moved too far north. But we would be able to hear it in the fort because there's always better reception in the fort.

We could quote shoebox_project and talk about magical animals and paint pictures of what we see when we don't see anything.

Next time you're in the area, stop by and check out my fort.

I am the master of the rhinos.

IF YOUR LIFE WERE A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, whatever).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press "play."
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the "next" button.

I even included a little quote from each song. It's great how HARDCORE my movie would be, just based on the soundtrack. As Ashley would say, it's a 'bitching' soundtrack.

My Life, The Soundtrack )

Extra notes
a) Lacey is cuddly... Too cuddly? We shall never know.
b) Sarah said something amazing about boys and chapstick and prowling, but I forgot to write it down. Suffice to say, it was awesome.
c) Heather is lending me her skirt! Be prepared for sexiness!
d) I don't know how this song got onto my computer, but it makes me very zen.
e) Sometimes people say things that upset me and I should be able to speak up and say so. I should stand up for my feelings.
f) Operation Death Defy is a go. I repeat, Operation Death Defy is an affirmative!

Silence?

My mp3 player died tonight. For no reason. Like, it wasn't dropped or banged against anything or gotten wet or heated up or anything. It just... stopped working.

I have no source of music now. I have no cds, no cd player, no tape player [oddly enough, I have two tapes in the bottom of my craft tower- Zeppelin II and 54-40, woo!], nothing at all.

I have my computer, of course, but my speakers are basically crap and I can't take my computer to class/on the bus/grocery shopping/when I go for a hike.

This sucks.

PS: How do we know nuns wear underwear? Who checks?

Oh my goodness.

bare for me! La la la! It's on its way. Oh huzzah.

In darker, angrier news, I lost my USB for my mp3 player and am angry. See, because I can't find it. So I can't add new music. And it makes me angry.

These two emotions [anger- can't find cord, excitement- getting bare] mix to make a twisty feeling in my stomach.

Oh well. Any and all emotion is about to be killed by school.

*shrug*

Quickly

Now I have to write this very quickly because I am running out of access time. I'm at the Toronto Library, and I only had fifteen minutes, but that's nearly up now.

My friends are jerks. They all left without me.

: (

Oh well. Weiiiiird music on right now.

Oh, it's the Blood Brothers, no wonder.

You know, I put all my music on my mp3 onto a play list, by alaphabetical order, and it's been on since about ten and I'm only at the 'b's, not to mention the hour it was on between sven forty and eight forty.

Oh my, that's a lot of music.

Nano is so close, I've already started panciking!

No plot? May be a problem after all.....

[Look at that, five minutes left!!]
