Doors and Problems Therein
Oct. 2nd, 2006 11:01 pmI love how I can go days and days without updating, and then turn around and update three times in one day.
Alright. We're going to have a guided meditation sort of thing.
First, relax. Now close your eyes and picture God's simplest creation [not Pauly Shore].
I think we all have a pretty similar idea of what this invention might be. Yes, yes ladies and gentlemen, it's a door.
A door is, by definition, easy to use and understand the mechanics of, correct?
Apparently not.
Yes, a friend of mine, while call her... 'Sam' [which is totally her name, which is why we're going to call her that], managed to screw something as simple as sliding a single piece of paper underneath a closed door. Something about it totally and fully confused her.
She timed it perfectly to conicide with her planned geteway into the elevator; hell, she even ran up to the right door. But in the heat of the moment, with the door and the paper and the sliding under, she lost her cool and blew it all.
RIP, Sam's diginity. You will be missed.
