late nights, bright lights

Couldn't sleep at all last night. I kept having these weird in-and-out sort of dreams and stuff when I tried so I ended up all night flipping through magazines and watching Father Ted.

I went for a walk as soon as it was light enough to see. I was walking for a while when I found a little orange and white kitten stretched out on the side walk. I crouched down next to him to say hello and I realized he was dead.

It was very distressing and I ran the entire way home. I climbed back into bed and cried myself to sleep. I don't know why it hit me like that but it did and now I'm just very cold. I've been cold ever since.
