Idiots and a Favour

Yes so, in the span of five minutes, I have lost my curtain and fallen down the stairs.
Oh, and apparently it's my fault for losing the curtain. But who didn't put it up for me NINE MONTHS AGO WHEN WE MOVED IN?
Yeah, that would be my mother.
*le sigh*
Where the hell did that damn thing go? I was here like... a week ago. This just angers me.
And you know what else angers me [aka: pisses me off]?
Danielle Harrison.
She made some rude reference to the guidance counsellor being gay [which I'm sure would upset his wife...] and he, being someone who wants his job, couldn't really say much.
I, on the other hand, could care less about keeping my job, and since the guidance office is a ways away from the drugstore, I figured the two wouldn't really meet up anyways.
"Danielle."
i says
"What ever do you mean?"
to which she replies:
"You know, that was just really gay."
i then ask her to explain how it was homosexual. she says:
"Not homosexual, gay. you know, like 'really stupid? dumb? gay.'"
now even the guidance counsellor looks like he wouldn't be upset if i tore her a new one.
"Danielle, that's really offensive and not the proper usage. Something isn't 'gay' if it's 'stupid'. It is 'stupid' if it's 'stupid'. You can't call things 'gay' to mean the same as 'bad' or 'dumb', because it's offensive."
she then asked me if i was a lesbian or
"-something gross like that."
i rolled my eyes, told her it was unacceptable and that if i heard it one more time, i'd report her.
Of course, she was whispering about me before I had even left the room. Some people are just fucked up.
In other news, she's got me so damn angry, I accidently closed the conversation window i was trying to keep open for future save-age. Both of them, actually. Fuck. I hate people.
And I need to find my flippin' curtain!
My mother has vowed to clean my room while I am at school this week, so my collection of slashy fanfic and my books of gay erotica, my lighters and match collection, four joints and a tea kettle need a safe home for the next few days... Anyone willing to help me out?

Date: 2005-11-27 06:34 pm (UTC)It actually started something among kids in the school.. Some people started saying "That's so straight!" and "That's so hetero!" I noticed a lot of kids seemed oddly offended by some of the straight sayings they came up with.
It was really interesting.

Very interesting! And I like how well that icon works. Which is, I am guessing, why you chose it. But still.
