THE NEW YORK EXTRAVAGANZA

New York City had never experienced such a fiasco. A bus with 50 All Saints students and four staff was headed towards her for four days... Can she retain her dignity, or will these beasts destroy all that stands in their way? Find out right now, on History Television.
[Patricia edit: Imagine it's the guy who does all the voiceovers for movie trailers saying this.....See? Sounds much cooler.]
*dramatic music*
...Actaully, it wasn't that bad. We had a great time and only one person got into 'trouble' [yes, me, shut up. I was only eight minutes late...]. No one got recognizably drunk or stoned [save one, this time not me]. We didn't loose anyone, or anything. And we took soo many pictures. I'm actually writing at you from Trisha's, where her and myself are going through all the pictures from our three cameras and filing/organizing them.
But without further ado, I present to you: We shall begin here: In the 'Tour Viewing Area' at Radio City Music Hall. Those are Patricia's feet, as she took this picture.
Bus Pictures
Note: I took all the Polaroids. Even the crappy ones, though I may try to blame one of them on someone else.
See, I shouted really loud and woke her up. She was startled, and hence, looks really silly.
Shannon fell asleep while the rest of us were awake. Really not a good idea on her part, especially after Janyne found a can of shaving cream....
One of the best games to play on bus rides:
Hangman! [Note: if you play with us, the words are always dirty]
This is Josh. I had never met him before. He's actually pretty cool, and he is SOOO TALL!. I like the accidental silhouette thingy.
Because no matter where you are going, you always need that one shot of someone coming out of the bathroom.
Why Bryn is sitting on the yucky, sticky floor, I don't know, but they were talking and I interrupted them to get this picture.
Oh, sitting on a bus for forty minutes waiting for something that you don't know what/who it is, and being told to settle down every four seconds makes everyone anxious, but these two [Melissa and Bryan] managed to 'smile' for me.
Janyne, Janyne, the Boho Queen
We were all wiped on the way home.
Bryan, Melissa and Bryn [and me, but I'm not in this one] hold a little girl pow-wow on the way home.
Even I manage to get a little shut-eye underneath a comandeered jacket [So Patricia took this one, I think].
Food Pictures
Because food is a staple for life [not so many of these].
We took a picture of this because (we're silly) it was huge and it amused us. You have to see this thing in real life, the picture doesn't do it justice.
Janyne supersized her meal, and attempted to eat it all. Actually, she also succeded with that. She decided to do this because it was the Mc.Donald's from the 'Supersize Me' movie.
Okay, so I said not so many, I meant it. Here:
Because twenty five cent porn is also a staple to life. You can't really tell because it was pouring rain so the rain distorts it, but that's what the signs said.
Artsy Photos
I figure since this was an 'Arts Deptarment' Trip, I needed a few artsy photos to round out the collection.
Graffiti is a form of art.
The Broadway musical we saw. I loved it, regardless of what LK tells me about Harvey F.
We say this is artsy because the wind was blowing and it gives a nice effect.
I am in love with this picture. We were just zipping by on the bus and took this shot. This is what happens when the camera can't focus.
Mmm, tree!
This is so blurry because I am afraid of heights and we were up really high and I was sort of panicking.
The celing [sp.? I hate that word] at the Guggenheim. I think it is really beautiful, and I wish I could have gotten a nicer shot. The colours didn't come out as nice as I had hoped they would.
I love how everything moves so quickly.
Now I know it looks like everything was moving quickly here too, this is not the case. I just forget to tuck my elbows in when I'm pointing and clicking.
A blurry Mr. D. standing in front of a poster decrying: Make Art! Not War!
Seeing The Sights
Various pictures of cool stuff we saw.
It is really hard to get a nice picture of something you are driving by really fast. I think it turned out nice anyways, so there.
A nice one Trisha took from the Empire State Builiding.
Off the bus, departing Chinatown.
I thought it looked cool.
OKay,. I saw the billboard, not the actual play, but jeez, if I had... You would never EVER hear the end of it.
Need I say more?
A fun truck from SoHo.
*does happy dance*
When you are a bus full of high school students, and you drive past this at seven thirty in the morning, it makes you very happy.
People Pictures
I can see pictures of scenery anywhere, but pictures of my friends being dork-asses in the cityare one in a million.
Sharlynn, Shannon and Janyne waiting to be frisked.
Trisha and Janyne being cute and innocent looking.
Trisha and Janyne being not so cute and innocent.
Michelle, Laurel, Ashley, Melissa and Trisha, waiting in the lobby at the State Building.
Waiting [again] this time for Mr. Najbor to find the bus. It's Michelle, Jess, Laurel and Mr. D.
My precioussss Mango!!
Sharlyyn and Janyne being ever so darling.
Colin took this one I think. I like how they all look normal.
Bryan and Melissa, dressed to kill for a night at the theatre.
l to r:Ashley, Laurel, Colleen [me], Michelle, Patricia, and Melissa in front.
Bryn is scandalized by the little winking man at Radio City Music Hall.
The Wonder of Wonders
Me and Alanna [aka: Mango/LK/Denise/Blood/etc.] being silly looking, if not overjoyed.
There you have it folks, more pictures to come, I'm sure, as Ashley, Michelle, Melissa and Janyne, hand over theirs for scanning and catalouging, but this is all for now. Peace out, little friends, and remember: Just because it looks tasty, doesn't mean it is!
