unavoidedcrisis: girl lying on the ground with playing cards scattered over her (BRAVO)
I can't ignore it anymore. There have been definite rumours of an arts department based trip to New York City in April. Which would kick ass.

Even with the added bonus of Ms. Denomme, Tom, and a chorus of others whom I cannot stand, going to a foreign place for any extended length of time away from adult supervision is something that I would be able to deal with.

Also the likely chance of hot boys. Which is also something I could deal with.

Not to mention all sorts of artsy things. Going to museums, taking in a show, and what have you. All good, wholesome things.

Ooh, then there's our Sociology field trip next Tuesday. Who's bright idea it was to take sixty of us to Kingston and turn us loose for a day needs to be institutionalized.

...Did I spell that right? Never mind.

Oh yes, and the jaunt up to the Al Green Theatre to see Macbeth last month. That was pretty fun too.

Man, this year rocks for trips and events and such. Not like last year. Not like last year's sole, half day trip to the DC Skills Training Centre. That was lame. The highlight of that was that I saw a squirrel. Yeah, a freakin' squirrel.

Honest: a squirrel.

Ms. Stokes asked me if I would be interested in going to see Wicked when it opens in March. I panicked.

Why did no one tell me it was coming here?!

It opens 8 March! And I'm finding out today? But still, that's so awesome. I'm excited.

And I'm also excited because I figured out today that I can have me license by August of next year. My G2 license. That's pretty darn impressive. But I can't pull a Lisa and fail a bunch of times with the G1.

But the DMV = governement agency. So it may not be open late into December, which is when I'd be going to write.

On a completely different note: does anyone remember the nursery rhyme about the pussycat and some other animal who do something and something in a pea green boat?

[n.b. I had to add this. It's just too amusing for me to keep to myself.

Because really? It's not. (it's based on one's lj interests). I find the Book of Revelation to be interesting. But love? Not quite. It's sort of the opposite.]
