Day 04: Your favourite show ever.

Firefly.

It was kind of a big surprise when I sat down to think about this one, but it is my favourite show. There's not an episode I don't like, there's not a character that annoys me, there's not a line of dialogue that irks me to hear repeated.

I think part of it is that it never ran long enough to get bad, right? It was short and sweet and it always left me wanting more, not wanting to roll my eyes and hope for a 'rocks fall, everyone dies' ending.

I love the music, the costumes, the sets, the sassy dialogue, the cinematography. I think all the characters were fleshed out just enough to be captivating, and do I ever think the roles were cast well.

I don't think I've ever been in a situation where someone said 'let's watch Firefly (or Serenity, I suppose) and I said 'nah, let's not'. I JUST LOVE IT, OKAY.

This day originally was going to come with a mini-picspam, but for the life of me it would not come together.

Day 05: A show you hate.

Hate is a strong word. I can't think of something I actually hatehate, but there are a few I dislike strongly.

Roswell. Watched almost all of the first season (and the series finale) with Ace and it did nothing for me. Couldn't get into the story, disliked the two main characters and found the supporting characters to be annoying more than anything else (I still love you Katherine Heigl, but only when you're wearing 27 dresses or killing Papa Winchester).

And yeah, I get that this might cause half of you to defriend me, but Smallville ties with Roswell. I think it's Superman in general though, because the whole idea just bores me. Tom Welling's face doesn't help. I bet he's friends with Zachary Quinto.
