i had a quiet day

Days 'o' Blog Count: 16/31
Katie brought me breakfast in bed this morning. How romantic and junk. Mostly though, it's because she has a terrible habit of forgetting to send emails for school and frequently calls me early in the morning so I can find the appropriate schoolwork and email it to her and save her ass. Like I did yesterday, thus warranting breakfasty goodness today. Alas, the good times were short lived, because she decided to throw out her hip or some such ridiculousness ultimately culminating in her not being able to move for the better part of the day.
I finished recording my very first ever podfic today and hope to see it posted in the next two or three days. *excitement* In related news, man do I ever hate the sound of my own voice. I am happy with the recording I made as far as emotions and pronunciations and pace, but I fear my voice will drive potential listeners to stick barbecue forks in their ears to tickle their brains with. o.O
Aimee came over this evening and we played three handed euchre and I did not win.
OH and I started watching Doctor Who this evening. So far, I like it. I'm just waiting for it to get too scary for me and Freddy to watch on our own though and then I'll have to find someone to watch with us...

The Final Thought: McLovin' cuddled with me for 4 hours today. He just sat quiet and licked my elbows and like... behaved. It was surreal.
