Ridiculously lonely in the Bay. Miss my people.
Just woke up from a terrifying dream about committed relationships (aptly named because people in them deserve to be committed). The weirdest part was I was in a committed relationship with the human version of my cat. Don't ask how I knew it was him, I just did.
I am not looking for love. I don't believe love can be found in other people. Occassional happiness and companionship, sure, but not love.
That being said, I still want to flirt/be flirted with. Call me old fashioned, but I like the thought of the man making the first move. Alas and woe, with a lady like me (aka: generally not too stand-out-ish) it doesn't happen, so I tend to initiate any type of flirting related activity and it kind of makes me feel creepy. And manly. Which is not a great feeling for anyone with a vagina to have, in my opinion.
Other side of that coin: don't flirt just because you want to prove you can. Flirt with purpose. A little innocent wink here or there is not going to hurt anyone's feelings, but don't lead me on all night and then take the drunk, skinny, blonde home. Because that makes you an asshole.
Thesis!
I am not manly and therefore men should flirt with me more often.
Okay, so I suck at thesises (is that a word?). I think this is all pretty straightforward information.
