Yeah, I'm 'That Girl'

So dinner and catching up and mooning over Spencer Reid with Lia and Lia's mother tonight, which was excellent, awesome and fun. There are very few people I still associate with from this place (four, I counted them) besides my family and gosh darn if I don't love every one of them for very, very different reasons.

But as I have some mild OCD about sleeping in my own bed these days, I opted to cab to Mama's to avoid almost certain rape and death on the long walk through the unlit grasslands of the dog park that separates the two neighbourhoods.

I chased a raccoon off Lia's lawn and hopped in the cab and almost immediately had to stifle an 'OMG' moment (I've tried and tried, but I can't think of a better term for it). Absolutely delicious cab driver. Like, I had a moment.

Now I know what you're thinking. And yes, yes I did touch him inappropriately. Because that's what I do. Anyone remember the cute french guy on the bus incident? I do! ;)(1) Yeah, this was better. And before you start dialing the authorities, there was nothing that could have been deemed sexual assault. Just a casual brush-and-linger of the hands when he handed me my change.

Alas, nothing could ever come of it. He was a redhead.

No, that's not racism, that's just a plain statement of fact. I'm officially zip for two with redheads and have decided to take the advice given to me re: gingers.(2) Sorry Sam.

Anyways, thought that was something to jot down for posterity. I miss my house.
