It is, as Charlie put it, the end of an era.

More fic will be posted, slowly pushing it further down into the pit of voles. Future generations of Newsies fans will have to look sharp or they might miss it.

Sad to think that it will not be engraved onto the insides of their skulls like it seems to be with fans today. Any writer worth their salt is also a reader, and every reader worth their salt knows of it.

It is a sad thought, that it shall not be remembered forever, and its praises sung from every hall, but it is also pragmatic. Times will change, as will attitudes. But there are many now who will remember.

There are many who will, sometime down the road, be able to tell you about Tony's hot car, or the perfectly fitting band name that was chosen in chapter 21. Or who had sex on Tony's binder.

We will never be able to listen to Sloan the same way again.

So we not be able to look forward to a new chapter, but now we have the story as a whole.

Revisiting old friends is always an option.

See what the fuss is about

It was one hell of a ride! Now we can sit back and wait for the movie! ; )
