'But, Billy, Your Clothes?' :: 'I Don't Love These!'

Upon having just finished watching the third and final act of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (here), I would like to put my thoughts into words before I forget them.

Joss, you bastard.

Every time. EVERY GODDAMN TIME, JOSS. I give you my heart and you trample it into the dust. I could go into detail with every time, but that would take too long.

Suffice to say you remind me of an abusive domestic partner. Evey time you hurt me, I always come back to you because in between the hurting, you make me feel so good. And I know you love me, and I defend your hurtful, spiteful ways to my friends because I know you don't mean it. I do love you, Joss. Just... Fuck, you can be such a bastard!

Also, I have the silliest crush on Billy. Oh Billy. <3

Act two is definitely my favourite. 'The Hammer is my penis...' and the ridiculous blank look Billy gives him in return... Perfect. And in the soup kitchen... Billy ladling the soup. It took me a second to catch it, but I nearly peed myself when I did see it. Captain Hammer kicking at the ducks... God, too good.

So yes, in review: act one = great; act two = death by great; act three = bastard-ly.

(Except you get to see Bad Horse. I fucking love that Horse).

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN. I was going to quote part of this and say "YES", but basically, I'd have to quote the entire first half. I don't know why I keep going back. I really, honestly thought this time would be different. WHAT A JERK.

I LOVED the ending to this, because it really played as an awesome, serious tragedy in a smartly written way. Of course, I'm still on Dark Knight pills so that type of thing is cool for me at the moment.
