Hello and welcome to today's edition of 'How Else Can Life Screw With Me?'
Today's guest is, as always, me. (Also Sarah and Aimee)
So yeah, Sarah and I can't live on Laurentian anymore because of zoning and bylaws and no privacy and deceased infants. Also, there's a ton of spiders here.
We found a place with Aimee and Trishka. A loft on Main Street. Actually, a gorgeous loft on Main Street. Neon orange bathroom, huge kitchen, awesome balcony, enough room for everyone to be happy in it.
Buuuuuuut noooooooooo.
The owner called the property company today and the property company called us. We can't have it because he might rent it to 'his girls'. Also, they're doing maintenence in the building. Not in this apartment, mind you, but the building.
WHAT THE HECK KIND OF EXCUSE IS THAT?
Why didn't someone tell us he was already renting it to someone? Our applications, references and deposit were in two days ago! And two of our three cosigners had sent their agreements with a guarentee of the third cosigner sending tomorrow morning!
HOLY CRAP.
I'm just not happy. Now we're homeless once again. Son of a...
Luckily, Sarah works at Sears and can get us some large sized cardboard boxes. Maybe we can set us up a little mansion type dealie.
Also, Sarah and I are working on putting together a workshop for February/March next year for students up at the school, to help provide them with the resources to find a place of their own. I think it'll be fun.
That is, IF we can find a place.
