A few months ago [livejournal.com profile] erture posted about which five female fictional characters she would want on her "crap, now we have to save the world/universe/sandwich" team. When I read it, I thought she probably had picked the characters I also would have picked, but I guess I should probably think of my own, so here goes.

YES THIS HAS BEEN SITTING ON MY DESKTOP SINCE OCTOBER, BLOW ME. I started a year-end meme I nabbed from [livejournal.com profile] sigrundora, but it turned out to depressing as hell when I started writing, and I'm attempting to begin 2012 as positively as possible, so none of that, only geekery and badass chicks!

Let's be honest, if procrastination could save the world, I would single-handedly make sure it was never in peril. )

So we were talking about how sexy and awesome Hugh Jackman was tonight in chat. We agreed he smells like campfires, Old Spice and/or freedom.

I brought this for you.

I don't think I need to tell you. )

1 • Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.

2 • Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.

3 • Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy.

4 • List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection!

I was in a play when I was younger (I was in plenty of plays, actually, I went to theatre school for 7 years, not to mention community theatre and backyard plays for the fam, plus SOS in university). The point is, I was in this particular play when I was younger.

I continue in this vein for a bit, then veer quickly into talking about my chest in terms that might freak people out. Nothing horribly graphic, but cutting here for possible tmi just in case. Also, length, as usual. )

Okay guys. I blurbed a few days ago about Lady Gaga/TSwift and their epic love story (just say yes). [livejournal.com profile] epiphanyx7 put out (as usual)

*squees forever*

This has cemented her place as Faithful #2. What have the rest of you done to endear yourself to me recently?
unavoidedcrisis: girl lying on the ground with playing cards scattered over her (i really like this)
Alriiiiight!

So I got my very first doll yesterday.

Actually, I didn't.

I got half of my first doll yesterday. I get the rest when I get the money from selling my DS so expect more giddy and more photos when she's all in one piece.

But today I bring you *drumroll*

1/2 of my first doll ever! )

Also, excuse my trashed bed in the background. All my bedding is in the wash right now, plus half of my wardrobe, so my room looks like a bomb test site.

So the banner isn't pretty, but I'm hoping the pictures are nicer.

In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous. )

Your result for The Brutally Honest Personality Test...

Freak- INFJ

40% Extraversion, 87% Intuition, 40% Thinking, 53% Judging

Well, well, well. How did someone like you end up with the least common personality type of them all? In a group of 100 Americans, only 0.5 others would be just like you. You really are one of a kind... In fact, I do believe that that's one of the definitions for the word "FREAK."

Freak's not such a bad word to describe you actually.

You are deep, complex, secretive and extremely difficult to understand. If that doesn't scream "Freak!" I don't know what does. No-one actually knows the REAL you, do they?

You probably have deep interests in creative expression as well as issues of spirituality and human development.

You've probably even been called a "psychic" before, because of your uncanny knack to understand and "read" people without quite knowing how you do it. Don't fret. You're not actually psychic. That would make you special and you'll never accomplish that.

You're also quite possible the most emotional of them all, so don't take this all too hard. Nevertheless you most definitely have the strangest personality type and that's not necessarily a good thing.

I don't know how I feel about that.

In other news, neither of my fave teams won in the pairs skate last night. China took silver and gold (bronze went to Germany). I personally liked the silver medalists over the gold in the short program and the free skate, but I'm not an Olympic figure skating judge now am I?

Also got to watch Canada get it's first gold medal on home soil. Bilodeau just look so overwhelmed, like he needed a hug. Maybe I just have an irrational urge to hug everyone, yes?

Today's agenda includes finishing my [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti fic (eep!) and read through my [livejournal.com profile] samdeanexchange entry to make sure it's not utter garbage. Reminder to self: don't sign up to write fic for people if you suck at writing in general. >.<

Mother and Stepfather leave for the their trip either Thursday night or Friday morning to catch their flight from Buffalo. So starting then, I will have virtually no human contact until the 9th of March. Woo? I don't even know. I already have a feeling that these dogs are going to drive me crazy.

Also, I wanna go to Disneyland. Like, really bad.
unavoidedcrisis: girl lying on the ground with playing cards scattered over her (gen -> i am canadian)
So um, I love the Olympics. Totally unabashedly love them. And I feel the same way about my country.

And I am so frickin proud to say I was watching when Canada won it's first gold on home soil ever. Oh yeah. I think what also makes it pretty dang cool is that it wasn't one of the huge names on our Olympic team either, it was kind of a random. Bilodeau had an amazing run (also holy crap moguls look like the most painful thing ever) and he just looked so damn excited! It was infectious :)

Also caught the men's 5000m speed skating on Saturday night - a whole bunch of cuties taking home medals. Is it wrong that the main secondary reason I watch the Games is to compile a list of places I want to visit based on how good looking their athletes are? I mean, athletes don't need to be good looking to excel - unlike other celebrities that do, right? I don't know, I always thought of athletes as more like regular people than actors/actresses. Whatever, I'm still shallow, but I'm alright with that.

Watched a lot of the pairs skate short program last night too. Kavaguti and Smirnov (Russians) are my favourites, I think (over Dube and Davidson even, *gasp*) so I hope they do well. They were just so captivating.

Um, so that's me rambling about the Olympics.
