Southern Ontario is suffering through something they're calling 'snow-mageddeon'. Ridiculous. The roads are slippery and no one knows how to drive, but that's just winter. Nothing very intense at all. No rooves are collapsing, no babies are choking on errant snowballs, and the power didn't even go out. The puppies can even go out without leashes, if we're just putting them in the yard. They found their way back in and everything.
I want to get snowed in somewhere. Preferably only temporarily and with someone cuddly and delicious. Or even on my own, in front of a fire with a good book and a strong whiskey would be ideal. Just a day or two off from life. *sigh*
Instead, I went to the Bay and then came home and made Katie be the big spoon.
Christmas... Let's talk about Christmas. It's not my favourite holiday, but I guess it's not so bad. Everyone is always so hyped for Christmas, but I find Christmas Eve to be the best of this time of year. All the excitement and anticipation.. *shiver* And good food and great company. And it's usually an excuse to watch the ballet and the cartoon Grinch movie.
I think I'll let Christmas quietly pass me by this year. I'll be alone in my house with just the cat and the ferret. Maybe I'll buy us some crackers. ^__^ I want to see McLovin' in one of those tiny paper hats.
But I guess that's only if I make it out of snowmadgeddeon in one piece...31 Days 'o' Blog Super Special Snowcovered FeaturesToday! In History:
